The action is a bolt action with cam cocking system, claw extractor and additional cartridge holder and ejector. An 11 mm grooved receiver drilled and tapped for scope mounts makes it possible to attach a telescopic sight. A lateral sliding safety blocks the trigger. The rifle can be loaded and unloaded in the ?safe? position. The bolt face is recessed for full cartridge head support. An additional gas escape groove guarantees safety. Trigger: Two stage trigger and single stage trigger correspond to the match triggers, which are used in the ANSCHÜTZ target rifles of the models 1903. The light weight, hardened and polished parts guarantee a smooth and precise release of the trigger. Barrel: The barrels are manufactured using the same special process perfected for our target rifles. The same attention to detail is given to the fitting of the receiver and the counterbore at the muzzle.
