6.5 Grendel, flat top upper receiver, full length Predator P12, 4 rail hand guard with 19.5 stainless steel barrel, comes complete with bolt, bolt carrier, 10 round magazine and manual.  (Please note this product does not have a picatinny rail on the gas block).

With the 6.5 Grendel, Alexander Arms continues to innovate in the field of the AR15/M16 style rifle. This new rifle caliber provides an extreme range capability for both hunting and competition shooters at ranges way beyond those previously achievable with this class of weapon. The 6.5 Grendel has the flexibility to move from lightweight varmint bullets  in the 90 grain class, which offer superb accuracy for competition and small game shooting, to mid weight 108/120 grain competition bullets and then on to 130 and 140 grain game bullets, ideal for those long deer shots.

The 6.5 Grendel is the newest rifle and cartridge in the Alexander Arms lineup, working with Lapua to develop the ammunition, rifles, uppers, brass, dies and ammunition will all be made available.

The rifle from a designer’s viewpoint is a pinnacle for what may be achieved within the confines of the AR15 style chassis and for once the disparate factors of mechanical function, internal, external and terminal ballistics are all working in harmony rather than being a series of trade offs and compromises.
