SCPX M24 SWS Deployment Package
Remington M24 NATO Rifle in .308

Package comes with or with out optics. If choosing optics with our SWS system, you save even more as we discount the scope for Package purchasers! See drop down selections below. We offer this option for those not yet able to afford the complete Deployment kit, understanding that budget often only allows one to assemble a portion of the system they desire. However, scope or not, this kit offers a one stop shop for the majority of items one would have to purchase separately to assemble a complete deployment package.  If you do not see the scope you want in the drop down selection, we can price the model for you on request. Kits with scopes will come with scopes mounted and bore sighted, the weapon case will be cut out for the rifle, accessories and data book. Kits without a scope selection will be cut for the rifle and accessories, but the area for the scope will be left uncut so the owner can modify the foam at a later date.

We've recently upgraded the kits with the excellent STORM IM3300 Weapons Case w/wheels, which features very sturdy handles and construction, a pressure relief valve and an )-ring seal, very similar to Pelican and Starlight. As stated above, the center layer of foam will be cut for the weapon and accessories. You can still select Pelican or Starlight as an option but with the addition of the STORM IM3300, there is little reason to upgrade as all three brands offer superior protection and longevity.

Kits Includes the following:

  • Optional Scope
  • M24 (Remginton ) NATO in .308
  • Badger Ordnance Tactical Rings
  • Badger Ordnance 20 moa M1913 Mil-Std Rail base
  • Harris Engineering S-series Bipod

  • Dewey Professional Brass Jag
  • Sinclair Bore Guide
  • 65 inch pound T-wrench

I love it. I've had my system about 21 months. Scott did a terrific job setting up my M-24. The boresight was only a couple clicks away from being dead on at 100 meters. Mine has the Leupold 3.5-10x40 w/ill mildot, 20moa M1913 rail, badger rings and the angle cosign indicator. This rifle shoots a little better than 1/2 TMOA off a bipod (with my 56 year old eyes) at 100 and 200 meters with the Fed match 168gr BTHP and right. I'm right at to just over 1/2 moa off a bipod at 300 meters using the same ammo. Similar results with the 175gr Federal. I haven't shot it beyond 300 yet; have to climb a steep bank to get out to 600 at the range where I shoot. I'm hoping to find somewhere I can try it out to 1000. I have some M118 LR seconds that have modest tip damage that shoot 5/8 to 3/4 TMOA at 200 and 300 meters. For some reason the same ammo opens up to about 1 moa at 100 meters, probably isn't stabilizing well enough within that range. If you shoot the surplus seconds, usually labled M118 LR PD, examine it carefully before shooting. I culled out a few that were seated too deeply--you will get a few flyers with that ammo. Back to the M24, you can't go wrong with the kit Scott builds. The Doskosil case is great for my purposes and you really won't need the heavier case unless you're really going to drop it out of a chopper or otherwise get really rough with it. I also bought the optional backup sights. Put them on one time so far. Fun to do but unless you're like me and just have to have everything that goes with an M24 you can live without the iron sights. My big surprise though was when I put my scope back on, the elevation was still right on and my windage was off by three 1/4 value clicks. Buy Scott's kit use the savings off the Remington kit for a good hunting rifle and optics. If you are someone that gets excited about one ragged hole gruops off of a bipod then you will love the M24. Should be even better off a benchrest. By the way, the manual doesn't specify a barrell break-in routine but I did what I've done with other precision rifles. I cleaned after every shot for the first 10 rounds, then moved to after 2 for the next 4 rounds followed by after 3 for the next 6 rounds. I cleaned after 10 for the next 40 rounds and then moved to cleaning after 20 through the remainder of the first 100 rounds. Now I clean at the end of a typical range session. I'll run a dry nylon brush behind an Otis flex rod about halfway through the session if I'm shooting longer than usual (say 60 to 80 rounds versus a typical 20 to 40).
