The Hi-Cap .45 is the new version of the original Para 14.45 LDA. It still has all the classic features and the trademark accuracy that led GUNS & AMMO to proclaim the 14.45 LDA the Handgun of the Year in 1999. The review stated, "To be honest, we'd have been delighted if the trigger on our test gun featured a trigger pull on par with an 'out of-the-box' conventional single action. But Para Ord went one better and came up with a DAO trigger closer to a tuned single action." Para has now gone one step further with the Hi-Cap .45, by adding the feeding and extracting reliability that can only come from Para's new Power Extractor technology.
