Many slug hunters believe you need more than just good slugs and barrels. The gun itself should be modigied in addition to adding the rifled barrel if you want to achieve maximum performance. The new Hastings® Scope Mount barrels give slug shooters the ability to use a wide range of standard eye relief scopes mounted of our traditional rigid integral base which is brazed solid to the barrel.
As with our previous Scope Mount Barrel designed for extended relief scopes, these barrels eliminate any possible sight movement between the barrel and the receiver in take down shotguns.
This change will allow slug shooters to use scopes with a wide field of view while retaining traditional Hastings accuracy. These Hastings® barrels can be removed and replaced without losing zero.
