The FN A3 G Shooting System represents a turnkey precision rifle system that is ready to unpack, verify zero and deploy. Built on the classic Winchester® Pre-‘64 Model 70-style action, the A3 G features controlled round feed, a massive external claw extractor and proven three position safety. The heavy barrel is free-floating with the action carefully hand bedded in a McMillan fiberglass stock which offers both an adjustable cheekpiece and length of pull. Both hinged floorplate and detachable box magazine versions are available, depending on the caliber selected.

These are no-compromise systems with only the best components and accessories. All components and accessories were painstakingly hand selected by real operators with real world experience. All shooting systems are ready to go, just unpack and confirm zero. All shooting systems come with the following accessories:

This is an exceptional rifle. I own and use it regularly both at work (law enforcement) and personally (F-Class long range). FN guarantees 1/2 MOA but I have not found one that the factory target is more than 1/3 using 168 Gr. Federal Gold Metal Match. My 100 yard factory test target measures .286 inches. My rifle does not shoot 175 Gr ammo near as well as 168's but it is still in the 1/2 MOA area. It will not hold a 1000 yard group as well as some rifles but then the max range on a .308 should be in the 800 yard range. This is a 24” barrel, if you want to exceed what is really the cartridges maximum effective range (as in F-Class 1000 yard matches) find another rifle with at least a 26” barrel (and more realistically 30”). Don’t think I am beating up on this rifle by any means, at 600 yards this rifle will hold a 2 to 3 inch group all day long if you do your part and use quality ammunition or careful handloads. The WINCHESTER made action is very smooth and solid. The receiver is actually a short magnum action that is built around a .308 bolt. The only thing I don’t like (and thankfully it can be removed) is the Tenebrax Killflash. I am sure it has its purpose and works well at it, however it really cuts down on the optical clarity of the scope. It will turn your high quality very clear Leupold into a K-mart bargain basement Tasco in no time. If you really must hide put it on, if you want to see fine detail- throw it away. I did eventually replace the Leupold scope with a 6.5-20 Leupold scope for really long range applications. One feature not mentioned is the Badger Ordinance 20 MOA rail that comes installed on the rifle. A great addition for a long range rifle!
