Often confused for the SVD Dragunov, the PSL or FKP rifle is actually based on the Kalishnikov action. It uses a non-illuminated 4x PSO type scope and has a very similar stock design. With Russian and Chinese SVDs being vary rare and expensive, this rifle, also known through various importers as the SSG-97, PSL or FPK, or ROMACK III, it is an affordable alternative for those looking for a Dragunov like rifle offering surprisingly good accuracy. This is a very good rifle.It shoots 1-1.25 moa at 100 meters and all the stuff it comes with its a great buy.Sniper Country has great people working for them,they are very informative and know there stuff.

This rifle with all its accessories is a tremendous buy! This rifle does not have the bugs and other kit built problems experienced with other models such as the "Dragunov" or the "FPK" which were built here in the US. This rifle is marked "PSL-54C" which means it was built in Romania at the Cugir Factory, the leading arms manufacturer in Romania. I purchased two Romanian 4-mag pouches with mags and I am glad I made the purchase. The price is the lowest anywhere for this rifle which is the best imported for this rifle type.
