FIREARMS SHIPPING POLICY

Sniper Country PX does not ship Firearms outside the USA. We WILL ship to an Exporter inside the US if you have made arrangements with them ahead of time. If you cannot find an exporter, contact us and we can help you arrange export.

Firearms must be picked up at our shop OR sent to your local FFL (Federal Firearms License) dealer of choice, who will then perform any Local/State background checks required. We can not and will not ship firearms to non-FFL holders. This is federal law. PA or area residents may pick up firearms at this shop. Otherwise we will gladly ship to the FFL of your choice.

Law Enforcement Only shipments may ship to your Department ONLY on a Department Letterhead. Individual Officers must still go through an FFL holder or drop by our shop to take possession.

AR15 rifles and other so-called assault rifles are NOT legal for sale to civilians in California. VOTE if that pisses you off.

If you are in a state with Draconian gun laws, Do not order a handgun unless you are familiar with your State Law concerning which firearms models you may legally own. Again, Californians, VOTE if this pisses you off.
We do stock various California Approved firearms. If you do not see them on the site, ASK about specific models.

How To Buy A Pistol or Rifle

We will hold the firearm for approx. 10 -15 days - giving you time to locate an FFL dealer near you. We cannot and do not ship firearms out of the country directly. Federal firearms laws prevent the TRANSFER of a HANDGUN from Sniper Country PX directly to an individual in another state (we are located in PA). We must ship your HANDGUN directly to an FFL Dealer in your state of residence, so that he may do the actual transfer. RIFLES may be purchased out of state -- however, you must either come to the shop for pick-up OR have the rifle delivered to your local FFL where, once again, he or she will do the transfer.

The steps to follow are:

  1. Order your firearm online using our secure shopping cart or CALL in your order at our ORDER LINE: 610-323-6543.

    IF ORDERING ONLINE, PUT YOUR OWN ADDRESS in both the BILLING and SHIPPING sections. We already know the firearm must ship to a dealer, so if you do not want all future, non-firearm orders shipping to your dealer, you will want you own address in the shipping section in your customer account. Further, adding a separate shipping address will trigger our Fraud Detection System and the order may not process. Your dealers shipping address is on their Federal Firearms License, which they can email or FAX to us. You do not need to give it to us during the check out process.

  2. Next, have your local Dealer of choice Mail or Fax us a copy of his SIGNED FFL (Federal Firearms License). If FAXING, please sent it to our FAX LINE: 610-323-1855.
    THE FFL MUST BE SIGNED. If your or your dealer prefer to mail the FFL, send it to: Sniper Country PX, 3103 Pruss Hill Rd., Pottstown, PA 19464.  A fax is Acceptable. However, please pay attention to the following items:

    Your Name, Your invoice Number, Your Dealers Signed FFL, Your Dealers Phone Number if possible.

Without this information, we have no way of telling WHO the Fax is for. Many dealers forget to include customer info when sending their FFL. Please make sure it is included.

It is standard procedure for your dealer to charge you a paperwork fee (average $25.00 to $45.00) to receive the gun for you. Most dealers will provide this service. Finally, you must pass all local requirements when you pick up the gun.

Make sure the dealer knows the firearm is coming from us and that the label will include their business name AND your name.

If we have your email on file, we will send you an email when the firearm ships. You may also receive an email from UPS or USPS with the same information.

Firearm Specific Returns (see return policy as well)

MUST READ: BEFORE filling out your transfer form and taking ownership of your firearm purchase, EXAMINE your purchase at the dealers! This is critical! Do not take transfer into your name, or possession of your firearm until you have fully examined it for defect or damage. We cannot accept returns of firearms once they have been signed over to you via transfer into your name. The reason behind this is that the distributors and manufacturers consider the firearm “used” once it has been transferred to the customer. The distributors will not exchange a “new” firearm for a damaged “used” firearm, even if you never shoot it. Their policy is that once a firearm has been transferred it is now used and all issues must go through the manufacturer’s service representatives.
What this means to you is that you must carefully examine your firearm purchase BEFORE signing the 4473 at your receiving dealers shop. If there is an issue, REFUSE receipt and contact us. We can generally get a distributor to exchange a firearm if it has not been transferred to a private citizen. But once it has, via the 4473 or state transfer forms, no begging on our part will convince them to exchange it. Once transferred, it now becomes a manufacturer issue and must be rectified via the manufacturer’s warrantee or service process.

Accuracy

no warranty is made or implied for accuracy. If you shoot a firearm that is commonly known to be an excellent shooter, and it does not meet your expectations, please contact the manufacturer as we have no control or recourse where expectation is concerned. See Above. Once you have shot it, any issue becomes a warranty issue between you and the manufacturer. On this note, check your scope, your scope mounts and your action screws first before assuming an issue with the firearm. It is not uncommon for a customer to use a scope that fails internally, to blame the firearm before checking the optics for tracking and repeatability, or looseness in mounting. We can try to advise you, so by all means call us, but if you cannot resolve the issue using standard trouble shooting methods and MATCH ammo, you must contact the manufacturer for further assistance.
